Central Park Wedding – Kristin & Roy are married!

On Saturday I photographed Kristin and Roy’s wedding in Central Park. I love small weddings, because by the end of it you’ve interacted with each guest, which is a really nice feeling! Everyone was so wonderful to be around and their entire day was so ‘them’ and so special. After Central Park we rode around New York on a sightseeing bus, passing spots that were of significance to Kristen and Roy (and ducking traffic lights!). It was a huge relief that the rain held out for us. Everyone had an ear to ear smile the entire time. It was a truly unique and wonderful wedding and I wish Kristin and Roy all the best together.

Kristin’s thoughts on weddings and being a ‘bride’ kind of resembled mine, so I totally understood where she was coming from when she said to me, “I’m just a girl getting married, not a bride.” However, she certainly made a gorgeous bride – whether she felt like one or not!

Grand Palladium Jamaica Wedding – Trash The Dress!

I know that Dana is looking forward to seeing images from the trash the dress session, so I wanted to post these up before I get caught up in the Market Factory’s event tonight and my Central Park Wedding on Saturday. Busy, busy, busy!

I think I nearly cried tears of excitement when Dana said she wanted to do a trash the dress session. I’ve been dying to do one and in Jamaica, what could be better?

We had such amazing weather while there – harsh sun at times – but beautiful skies and not too much rain. I loved how every location we went to, Dana and Anthony’s family were there with their cameras and camcorders as well. I’m seriously considering hiring Stacey and Chris (in the paddleboat) to team up and do videography with me. They caught the ‘taking the plunge’ image flawlessly from a peddle boat, no less!

I saved processing reception photos for last, because there are so many. They’ll be up shortly following this post.

Grand Palladium Jamaica Wedding – Dana and Anthony (part one)

Processing, processing, processing! Since getting back from Jamaica I’ve been flip-flopping between ‘get better Kristina’ and ‘process RAW files Kristina’.

Jamaica is going to have to be a three part entry for lots of reasons. I’m also working on putting together a slideshow (i.e. fumbling through learning new software), but for now I wanted to share some of my favorite images from Dana and Anthony’s unbelievably romantic destination wedding at the Grand Palladium Resort. The following images are ‘getting ready’ through the ceremony.

But first, I want to thank Dana, Anthony, their family, friends and Danielle for making Jamaica a great experience. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Enjoy!
