On Saturday I photographed Kristin and Roy’s wedding in Central Park. I love small weddings, because by the end of it you’ve interacted with each guest, which is a really nice feeling! Everyone was so wonderful to be around and their entire day was so ‘them’ and so special. After Central Park we rode around New York on a sightseeing bus, passing spots that were of significance to Kristen and Roy (and ducking traffic lights!). It was a huge relief that the rain held out for us. Everyone had an ear to ear smile the entire time. It was a truly unique and wonderful wedding and I wish Kristin and Roy all the best together.
Kristin’s thoughts on weddings and being a ‘bride’ kind of resembled mine, so I totally understood where she was coming from when she said to me, “I’m just a girl getting married, not a bride.” However, she certainly made a gorgeous bride – whether she felt like one or not!

Kristin and Roy met six years ago during Gotham Writers’ Workshop!
