I couldn’t let another ‘Wedding Wednesday’ go by without posting a wedding, now could I? And this wedding is super special to me because it’s my sister’s!
When April and Michael first asked me to shoot their wedding I was like, “Duh, of course!” but then I started to think about it all and… well your sister only gets married once. I pictured my often uncoordinated self balancing a bouquet and a camera down the aisle (in heels, to boot!) and knew I wanted to be a Maid of Honor first and a photographer second. So I took a backseat and shot some details, the first look and a day after portrait session. Smartest decision ever made, because I had a total blast celebrating and dancing and I would not have wanted it any other way!
My sister is a graphic designer and she pretty much put together every tiny detail of her wedding with the help of Michael and other family and friends, they pulled their hand made wedding off flawlessly.
