Red Hook Engagement – Meredith & Babak

My oh my, wedding season is upon us and it is a blast so far! I’m excited to share Meredith and Babak’s engagement shoot today. When they suggested exploring Red Hook and ending at the Lobster Pound, I was thrilled! I love when couples pick locations that are meaningful to them and I love it even more when it’s a location that is meaningful to me, too. Red Hook is one of my favorite places to shoot (and to ride my bike and to wander aimlessly…) and the Lobster Pound? Delicious! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Galapagos in May (and also get to work again, with fellow Brooklyn Betrothed members Tammy Golson and Rebecca Shepherd)! Lauren and Kris’ ReBar Wedding will be coming up shortly, but for now – enjoy these fun engagement shots!

Brooklyn Bride Feature & Brooklyn Betrothed’s 100th Blog

What an exciting blog day!!! Today I woke up to see one of my favorite engagement sessions featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs, Brooklyn Bride! Check out Stacy & Kenny’s Governor’s Island shoot feature here: Stacy & Kenny on Brooklyn Bride.

Also today, Brooklyn Betrothed celebrated a giant milestone: Our 100th blog post! We are so thrilled that we have so many fabulous readers. Many, many thanks to our readers!

Brooklyn Engagement Shoot – Michael and Erica

Over the weekend, I got to explore some of my favorite Brooklyn spots with Erica and Michael! From Verandah Place in Cobble Hill to Union Street in Gowanus we had a wonderful time wandering around and photographing on a really gorgeous spring day! I’m so looking forward to photographing their wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens this May! Congratulations and enjoy!

The Grove Wedding – Lyndsey and Jonathan are Married!

Last weekend (on my birthday!) I photographed the wedding of Lyndsey and Jonathan at The Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ. It was my second time shooting at this stunning venue and my first wedding of a very busy 2012 season. It was a gorgeous day and everyone was so wonderful to work with and be around. They also started my 2012 season off with a dancefloor that will be pretty hard to top! Best wishes to Lyndsey and Jonathan – enjoy!
